Performing Companies

The performing companies at Kane & Co. are a select group of dancers that are chosen through an audition process. These dancers represent Kane & Co. by performing at various venues around the CSRA. They are required to take class in all three principles of ballet, tap, and jazz. They are also required to attend extra rehearsals for large group numbers when needed. This year the performing companies attended a dance workshop at Dance Makers, Inc. in Columbia, SC, performed at several school carnivals, and performed at the Time to Care event hosted by Channel 12 News. Two members of the junior company also competed in Columbia, S.C. earning third place recognition for their performance.

There are two opportunities to join our team. Company auditions will take place on Thursday, June 4th from 6p-8p and Saturday, August 8th from 10a-12p. If your dancer is interested, please call the studio to reserve your spot for one of the audition dates above. Dancers must be 6 years of age or older to audition.
